I have added a Chantango chat applet to the Tripod (http://maryannswebs.tripod.com) site, MySpace group page and main profile page.  You can access the chat from either of the 3 sites and chat with people who any of the sites.  It is really nice how it links everything together and it is super fast!  Still going to keep the bravenet chat, but not sure what it will be used for.  Maybe private chats or something.  But yes...it is great.  If anybody knows how to add custom HTML to this (bravenet) site let me know please :]

Well, for the most part chats have been opening up at night usually between 8pm or 9pm I'd be in the room.  That worked for a while then I started only showing up later in the evening.  So here is the new run down.  If you're around just pop in and see what's going on.  I have been logging in early in the day and just sitting as I go through school work and job hunting.  You can pretty much guarentee that by the evenings I will be there though...so don't think because I haven't posted recently that nobody will be in the room.  Any confusion on that shpeal let me know :]

Hopefully I'll actually have something interesting to post sometime soon.

Yeah...once again it has been forever since updating even though the last entry says I was going to be updating more reguarly.  Tsk on me.  Whatever, I'm seriouslly back now.  There is a button link I am posting on the Spirits Wake MySpace (click over on the left where it says "Spirits Wake") to direct people to this site.  Also, I am going to post in here findings from the house I live in now.  So far we have gotten several E.V.P.'s as well as a few orbs.  I won't be back tracking any, but as things happen from here on out I will be posting them.  It is time to get back into my old self.  A lot has happened in the time I've been gone and a new me took over...time to kill that self and fall back on the original.

Now then the E.V.P.'s I will be posting on the Tripod site (also over on the left under "Main Page") as well as on the MySpace page.  I am making one page to store the clips on that way I can import one at a time to the main MySpace page.  There is also a certain player that allows me to put up more than one audio clip at a time which I may use along with the standard music player.  We'll see how it goes.  So yes...I am working on getting E.V.P.'s up.

I am looking for some artwork.  Right now there is nothing I can offer besides promotion for your site and my thanks.  The Spirits Wake discussion group needs a new icon.  Stop by the page (on the left...) take a look around and if you have any ideas you can post them here, send me a message through MySpace or send e-mail to MBOWERS84@HOTMAIL.COM

Hey guys.  It's been a while, but I think the spammers are finally gone.  Just wanted to drop a line saying I'm still around and if any of you still stop by there will be updates and things once again.  I have made  a similar page on MySpace just because it may end up with more attention and ability to grow, but we will see how that goes.  You can view it at Spirits Wake  if any of you want to stop by and check it out or have a MySpace and would like to be on my friend's list.  Take care everybody, and please drop a line letting me know some of you are reading this.  Updates soon.

    I hate you all.  All of you spammers, robots, lurkers, ignorers, and insulters.  Thanks to you this site might as well no longer exist.  It has became almost impossible to maintain a site that is constantly being bogged down with junk.  I've said it before and I will say it again...it's the feedback that motivates me to continue posting, and I've gotten none of it since getting back online almost 3 months ago.  How sad is that?  Anyways...look me up on MySpace I guess.  I may be posting in here again at some point, but that will depend on the spam stopping or not.

          I'm watching a special on The Travel channel about the Bermuda Triangle at the moment.  Only 5 planes a year on average are lost in it.  That's not very impressive.  More people go missing without explaination then than every month.  Nobody makes specials about that.  When it comes to an ancient mystery surrounding a tropical island which just so happens to be one of America's most popular tourist attractions though...there are more t.v. specials and books written than can be counted.  Not to say the Bermuda Triangle isn't worth all the attention it gets, I mean is it pretty strange.  People have reported time warps, feeling confused, unexplained noises, and being suddenly very far off course.  It is certainly something to think about.  I went there...on the outskirts once on a glass bottom boat ride on a cruise to Bermuda about 10 years ago.  The island people are a very private group and don't much care for "outsiders" trying to pry their way into their lives.  Maybe there's something they just aren't telling us.

      Anybody catch Most Haunted tonight?  They were actually able to capture the balls on a pool table moving on their own and a t.v. shutting itself on and off both when asked and at random times.  They're filming in America this season and were in Hollywood tonight.  I'm beginning to give that show a little more credit than I used to.

As you probably noticed, I wiped out my entire tagboard.  Sooooooooo much spam it was ridiculous.  I'm not going to go through every single link to see if it's a legite post or not...sorry.  So the tagboard has been emptied out.  As for the spam in the guestbook and in various posts I am TRYING to clean as much of that out as I can WITHOUT deleting all the comments/guestbook entries.  Doing this a little at a time though since there's a lot to go through and knowing me, I'm not going to get through all of it.  You may still see some spam until enough new entries are made to push the little bastards off of the page so just deal with me for a bit.

Can you believe that's the only news I have to post?  This journal really is getting boring.  I need your help.  Like for instance...on the main page, there's a section....an empty section, for viewer's stories, pictures, or just whatever.  There's also a section for reviews of books, movies, websites, and music.  PARTICIPATE!!!!!!!!!!! You can send me any contributions you'd like to make to the site via email, AIM, posting it on the site, or if you catch me in the chat room.  Seriously, I'm having a bit of a problem keeping this site entertaining on my own, and that's sad.  I have been working so much lately I haven't had any time to dabble with much of anything.  Trying to keep the site updated now that I'm back online though.

Turns out I won't be getting that camera.  Money issues at the moment. ~sigh~

     Alright, I've finally narrowed it down. I'm going to buy the Kodak Easy ShareZ740...unless I can find a Canon Power Shot S5-IS...or something like that...I forget the exact model number.  There are easy shares going for $150 on ebay that come with a camera bag and tripod which is great.  Hopefully in 2 weeks when I get my next check they will still be selling those bundle deals.  I would already own the camera, but Neil's birthday is comming up so I splurged and bought him a new guitar.  Thank you tax checks.

       While going through some old pictures today I came accross one of the cat we used to have sitting on the top shelf of the closet (not where we are living now...this was before I moved in with Neil) staring up at the corner.  Now I had always noticed a brown spot in the picture, but always assumed that it was dirt or something on the wall, but today I noticed whatever it is has it's own shadow.  The room at the time was pitch black except for a small blue lightbulb and when the flash from the camera went off this is what was captured.  Strange, no?  Could just be a moth or something though, but I remember it being Winter when I took the picture or Fall.  Who knows.  Just odd that it took me so many years to notice the shadow.  Especially since the girl who owned the house said so many things happened to her there and I had gone over the pictures I took in that house hundreds of times trying to find something.

  Does anybody live in Michigan possibly around the Detroit/Saginaw area and want to go see Pig? They are playing in Detroit I think in May, but I'm not sure.  Only one requirement...I need a ride.  I don't have a car anymore, and am looking for any way possible to get to this show.  In return both Neil and myself will buy your ticket for the show, all of your gas money, and buy you dinner.  Sound desperate enough? I don't want to read any comments from people telling me how dangerous it is to post something like this or that some stranger could come and kill me and all of that crapp.  I am NOT stupid and there is a process before I'd be willing to go through with anything....give me a little credit people, jeeze.

 It's been 5 months and 1 day since my last entry. Apologies to all.  The internet was turned off without warning and it has taken up until last night to get it started back up with a different company.  Anyways...I'm back!!!

  Believe it or not, everything has pretty much stayed the same.  Last month I got a job work as cashier at Time Hortons and last week I got to go to my first concert since being out here in Michigan.  Now I am looking into buying a new digital camera and possible a thermal imaging camera if I can find one that isn't too pricey. My guess is it will stil be quite a while before getting a thermal imaging camera.  Expect to have a new digital camera within the month though so looking forward to that.  Have gotten only a few voices in the house over the winter months.  One was actually in my bedroom and picked up while recording some music...wasn't trying to capture an e.v.p. but I did.  The voice was of an adult male who sounded pretty angry and racist therefore I'm not going to post what he said, but it certainly did surprise me.

    As usual, feel free to leave comments, tags, emails, post on the bulletein board and stop by the chat room.  I'll be clearing out some junk that's accumulated on the site while I've been gone over the next few days and by the end of the week things should be back to normal.  Their boring, uninventive normal selves as some of the site's previous visitors would have said.
